This #SUNDAYFUNDAY we did something a bit out of the ordinary from your usual trip out.
We visited The Paulos Circus at Roko’s Health Club in York.
You are better off purchasing your tickets before the show starts from the ticket office and arriving around an hour before the show begins to guarantee yourself a place.
They announced that they had sold out whilst we were waiting for the doors to open.
We were there early, around 50 minutes … so got ourselves some great front row seats and settled down with some popcorn they were selling at the entrance on the way in.
We also had the entertainment of “Mr N” whilst waiting for the show to begin, who was psyching up the crowd ready for Showtime.
The set was magical all brightly lit, leaving spectators wondering what was to come.
They even dimmed the lights and projected a countdown on the ceiling 1 minute before the show.
The circus blacked out and then the production began.
These three kicked the show off with an almighty bang. Tension set throughout the crowd, cheers and gasps as they performed The Wheel Of Death.
This was then followed with a showstopping knife throwing act that left chills running through your body.
Between each high intensity act, “Mr N” would come on stage to humour us with some comedy stage act.
He was my daughters favourite part of the show, filling the children (and adults) with lots of giggles.
We were then mesmerized by juggling acts, balancing acts and ball tricks.
This was followed by the most incredible light and laser performance you could envisage.
It had the crowd in awe. Timed to perfection with the music.
Next up, we had the very talented gymnast and hoop performer showcasing a very elegant routine.
All of these truly unbelievable acts were topped off with a mind blowing, dangerous finalė which had everyone on the edge of their seats.
It actually got even more terrifying than the picture …. but I’ll leave that for you to watch in person at the show!
And all of these fabulous acts led by the ring master himself, who also took part in the show.
Full credit to every single person – from the popcorn seller to the daredevils of the show!!
A great family show and a MUST WATCH performance
All of this for just £7 per person
